Geoffrey Warde, MBE – Chairman

Geoff WardeGeoff joined Graytone in 2000.

He was previously Chief Executive of TFX International and President of the British Marine Federation.

Currently he holds a number of Chairmanships and is highly experienced in international business development, including mergers and acquisition.

Geoff brings a wealth of business experience to the Graytone Board.

Outside Graytone, Geoff devotes considerable time to his charity work and beyond this his interests include boating and country pursuits.



Graham Yates – Managing Director

Graham has over 30 years experience in aerospace, defence and industrial coatings.

Born and bred PSG, having worked his way up through the ranks, Graham became Managing Director in 1997. In 1998 he was given the opportunity to purchase PSG from the previous owners and teamed up with Tony Swayne and Geoff Warde to effect a management buyout in 2000.

Since 2006, he has focused on a business development role for Graytone.





Nick Robins – Finance Director

Nick joined Graytone in 2017. He has 16 years’ experience in the aerospace industry and a wealth of experience in business development and financial management.  His career began as a KPMG trained Chartered Accountant and he rose quickly through the ranks, entering the aerospace industry in the late 90s as Finance Director at McKechnie Aerospace, moving to Pattonair as Executive Director for Europe in 2004.

Away from work, Nick’s main passion is cycling.





John Keating – Business Development Director

John Keates

John joined Graytone in 2012.

In the ‘90s, John was Managing Director of B&K Resins, subsequently Operations Director at Aeropia, and more recently Director Supply Chain in Europe and MENA for Haas Group International. John has extensive operational and supply chain experience and a strong background in composites and adhesives. He has been appointed by the Graytone Board to assist in the development of the composite/adhesives business within the Group.

John is keen on golf, car restoration and music.
